The Forest Management Unit (KPH) Madiun is one of the forest resource management units (SDH) of Perum Perhutani East Java Regional Division, located at Jalan Rimba Mulya No. 6 Madiun.<\/span><\/p>\n The forest area managed by the KPH Madiun\u00a0 is 31.086,87 Ha consisting of 2 company classes (KP), i.e. KP teak covering an area of \u200b\u200b27.356,77 Ha and KP eucalyptus covering an area of\u200b\u200b 3.730,1 Ha. Administratively, the KPH Madiun area is located in 3 regencies, Madiun Regency covers an area of \u200b\u200b15,953.8 Ha, Ponorogo Regency covers an area of \u200b\u200b13,405.8 Ha, and Magetan Regency covers an area of \u200b\u200b1,860.1 Ha.<\/span><\/p>\n KPH Madiun, as a work unit in Perum Perhutani, implements forest management based on the principles of sustainability. In its implementation, KPH Madiun applies the principles of sustainable forest management (PHL) based on the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) scheme. KPH Madiun has applied this principle by establishing a forest section as a sustainable forest management unit with the plot as the smallest management unit. The forest area of \u200b\u200bthe KPH Madiun is divided into four forest sections (BH), i.e. the BH Caruban (11,953.60 Ha – Teak KP), BH Pagotan (4,076 Ha – KP Teak), BH West Ponorogo (6,260.3 Ha – KP Teak), and the BH East Ponorogo (5,193.7 Ha \u2013 KP Teak and 3,736.1 Ha \u2013 KP Eucalyptus).<\/span><\/p>\n The organizational structure of the Madiun KPH consists of 2 Forest Management Sub Units (SKPH), 11 Forest Management Units (BKPH) and 39 Forest Management Resorts (RPH). Based on its function, the Madiun KPH forest area is divided into 2 (two), a Production Forest covering an area of \u200b\u200b30.016,01 Ha and a Protected Forest covering an area of \u200b\u200b1.070,86 Ha, protected area 3,816.2 ha and Non-Production areas 913.5 ha. Management and monitoring activities are planned and structured to ensure the sustainability of economic, environmental and social functions.
