MADURA, PERHUTANI (10/01/2020) | Perhutani Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan (KPH) Madura berikan pendalaman materi bertahan hidup di hutan (jungle survival) kepada anggota Saka Wanabakti Kwartir Ranting (Kwaran) Arjasa Bagian Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan (BKPH) Kangean Barat, bertempat di petak 8 Resort Pemangkuan Hutan (RPH) Arjasa, Pulau Kangean, Sabtu (10/01).
Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh gerakan pramuka Saka Wanabakti Kwaran Arjasa bersama Perhutani BKPH Kangean Barat dalam pertemuan rutin persiapan pra pelantikan anggota baru periode 2020/2021, dengan mengusung tema “Pramuka Sahabat Alam”.
Administratur KPH Madura melalui Asisten Perhutani (Asper) BKPH Kangean Barat Marinus pada acara itu menyampaikan jika kegiatan tersebut diharapkan bisa menjadi catatan sejarah bangkitnya kembali Saka Wanabakti di pulau Kangean yang lama sudah tidak aktif. Menurutnya Saka Wanabakti sebagai binaan Perhutani KPH Madura harus bisa mendalami materi 4 krida antara lain, Tata Wana, Bina Wana, Guna Wana dan Reksa Wana.

“Kami berharap seluruh anggota Saka Wanabakti mempunyai skill dan pengetahuan dasar tentang jungle survival yang merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Krida Reksa Wana, sebab melalui kegiatan tersebut dapat melatih leadership dan rasa tangung jawab anggota Pramuka menghadapi tantangan dimasa depan,” ungkap Marinus.
Salah satu wakil anggota Saka Wanabakti Sahrul menyampaikan, bahwa pemberian materi mengenai jungle survival yang diberikan oleh instruktur dari Perhutani sangat penting baginya maupun peserta yang lain, “Semoga dapat bermanfaat dan menambah wawasan serta kemandirian para anggota Saka Wanabakti saat berada di lapangan,” katanya.
