Perhutani KPH Banten |

Perum Perhutani Forest Management Unit (KPH) Banten is one of the management units under the Regional Division of West Java and Banten of Perum Perhutani.
The working area of KPH Banten, based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010 concerning the State Forestry Public Corporation (Perum) and Director’s Decree No. 95/KPTS/DIR/06/2023 regarding the Division of Forest Areas within KPH Banten, covers a total of 79,999.05 hectares. This area falls under the administrative regions of the following districts and cities in Banten Province: Pandeglang Regency (36,746.82 ha), Lebak Regency (35,573.35 ha), Serang Regency (5,746.39 ha), Cilegon Municipality (153.37 ha), Serang City (177.52 ha), and Tangerang City (1,601.60 ha), with the following territorial boundaries:

Northern Boundary : Bordering the Java Sea
Eastern Boundary : Bordering KPH Bogor and KPH Sukabumi
Southern Boundary : Bordering the Indonesia Ocean
Western Boundary : Bordering the Sunda Strait

Based on land suitability, the forest area of KPH Banten is divided into two Forest Business Classes (KP): KP Teak covering 41,108.27 hectares and KP Mahogany covering 38,890.78 hectares.

Limited Production Forest HPT > 15 % : covers an area of 28.873,35 Ha,
Forest Production (HP) : covers an area of 40.818,42 Ha
Protected Forest (HL) : covers an area of 10.307,28Ha.

BH Leuwibalang covers an area of 8.240,98 Ha
BH Pandeglang covers an area of 6.616,99 Ha
BH Panyaungan covers an area of 7.437,27 Ha
BH Pasir cabe covers an area of 5.138,16 Ha
BH Sanggabuana covers an area of 2.217,97 Ha
