Perum Perhutani’s Forest Management Unit (KPH) Bogor is one of the management units under the Regional Division of West Java and Banten.
According to Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010, the working area of KPH Bogor covers 49,337.06 hectares, located within the administrative regions of Bogor Regency (37,681.64 hectares) and Bekasi Regency (11,655.42 hectares), West Java Province, with the following boundaries:

• Northern Boundary                : Bordering the Java Sea
• Eastern Boundary                  : Bordering the Sukabumi Forest Management Unit (KPH Sukabumi)
• Southern Boundary               : Bordering the Cianjur and Purwakarta Forest Management Units (KPH Cianjur and KPH Purwakarta)
•  Western Boundary               : Bordering the Banten Forest Management Unit / Banten Province

Based on land suitability, the forest area of KPH Bogor is divided into two Plantation Classes (KP): Acacia mangium covering 25,746.48 hectares and Pine covering 23,590.58 hectares.

Forest Functions :

• Limited Production Forest (HPT) < 15 %    : covers an area of  5.477,33 Ha,
• HPT > 15 %                                                         : covers an area of  10.596,56 Ha,
• Production Forest (HP)                                    : covers an area of   27.420,85 Ha,
• Protected Forest (HL)                                       : covers an area of  5.842,32 Ha.

Based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010, the Bogor Forest Management Unit (KPH Bogor) is divided into several Forest Sections (BH):

1. BH Cariu  covers an area of  729,52  Ha
2. BH Bolang covers an area of  5.504,95  Ha
3. BH Karang covers an area of  4.603,84  Ha
4. BH Megamendung covers an area of  257,22  Ha
5. BH Nanggung covers an area of  220,87 Ha
6. BH Parungpanjang covers an area of  365,24 Ha
7. BH Ujungkrawang covers an area of  655,42 Ha

Based on its management area, KPH Bogor consists of 5 Forest Management Unit Sections (BKPH) and 16 Forest Management Unit Resorts (RPH), with the following breakdown :

BKPH Bogor = 9.257,22 Ha

• RPH Babakan Madang  = 3.032,65 Ha
• RPH Cipayung                = 3.665,82 Ha
• RPH Cipamingkis           = 2.558,75 Ha

BKPH Jonggol = 14.333,36 Ha

• RPH Cariu             = 3.504,60 Ha
• RPH Karang          = 4.603,84 Ha
• RPH Tinggarjaya  = 6.224,92 Ha

BKPH Jasinga-Leuwiliang = 8.725,82 Ha

• RPH Cigudeg       = 2.166,64 Ha
• RPH Cirangsad    = 3.338,31 Ha
• RPH Gobang        = 2.164,22 Ha
• RPH Leuwiliang   = 1.056,65 Ha

BKPH Parungpanjang = 5.365,24 Ha

• RPH Tenjo        = 1.541,61 Ha
• RPH Maribaya  = 2.082,30 Ha
• RPH Jagabaya  = 1.741,33 Ha

BKPH Ujungkrawang = 11.655,42 Ha

• RPH Singkil                   = 3.832,82 Ha
• RPH Pondok Tengah    = 4.811,61 Ha
• RPH Muara Gembong  = 3.010,99 Ha
