The working area of KPH Majalengka, based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010 concerning the State Forestry Public Corporation (PERUM), dated October 22, 2010, covers a total of 20,144.98 hectares. This area falls within the administrative regions of Majalengka Regency (18,177.63 ha) and Cirebon Regency (1,967.35 ha), in the province of West Java, with the following boundaries:
Based on land suitability, the forest area of KPH Majalengka is divided into three Business Classes (KP): Pine Business Class covering 7,074.71 hectares, Teak Business Class covering 2,470.02 hectares, and Cajeput Business Class covering 10,600.25 hectares.
