Perum Perhutani Forest Management Unit (KPH) Majalengka is one of the management units under the West Java and Banten Regional Division of Perum Perhutani.
The working area of KPH Majalengka, based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010 concerning the State Forestry Public Corporation (PERUM), dated October 22, 2010, covers a total of 20,144.98 hectares. This area falls within the administrative regions of Majalengka Regency (18,177.63 ha) and Cirebon Regency (1,967.35 ha), in the province of West Java, with the following boundaries:

• North side           : Borders with KPH Indramayu
• East side             : Borders with Cirebon Regency and Kuningan Regency
• South side          : Borders with Ciamis Regency
• West side           : Borders with KPH Sumedang

Based on land suitability, the forest area of KPH Majalengka is divided into three Business Classes (KP): Pine Business Class covering 7,074.71 hectares, Teak Business Class covering 2,470.02 hectares, and Cajeput Business Class covering 10,600.25 hectares.

• Limited Production Forest (HPT) < 15 %          covering an area of 1.234,72 Ha,
• HPT > 15 %                                                               covering an area of 2.617,083 Ha,
• Production Forest (HP)                                          covering an area of 10.913,85 Ha
• Protected Forest (HL)                                             covering an area of 5.379,33 Ha

Based on Government Regulation No. 72 of 2010 concerning the State Forestry Public Corporation (PERUM), dated October 22, 2010, KPH Majalengka is divided into several Forest Areas (BH) :

1. BH Cakra Buana covering an area of 840,38 Ha
2. BH Cendana Bitung covering an area of 722,00 Ha
3. BH Cilutung Timur covering an area of 5.379,33 Ha
4. BH Mt. Ciremai covering an area of 133,00 Ha
5. BH Mt. Kromong covering an area of 2.407,82 Ha
6. BH Karayunan covering an area of 62,20 Ha
7. BH Kertajati covering an area of 10.600,25 Ha

Based on its management area, KPH Majalengka consists of 4 Forest Management Unit Sections (BKPH) and 13 Forest Management Unit Resorts (RPH), with the following breakdown :

• BKPH Cibenda           = 10. 600,25 Ha
